Meet Your Counselor: Ana Weeks
Ana graduated with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health and Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling from Thomas University. She joined the Kalon Christian Counseling team in August 2023. She is currently working towards her professional counseling licensure in Georgia and Florida under the supervision of Dusty Hart.
Ana has significant experience working with women who have experienced addiction issues and sexual trauma. She is committed to lifelong learning and applying psychologically sound, evidence-based practices in working with clients. She recently completed advanced clinical training in the Neuro Affective Relational Model (NARM), which addresses issues related to developmental trauma and Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD). Ana believes that her faith and spirituality also play an important role in her therapeutic work.
Ana is grateful to a part of a team of therapists who view the individual seeking therapy as a whole person created in the image of God. She considers it a privilege to collaborate with clients to achieve their goals, experience spiritual and relational growth, and move towards an authentic and abundant life.
Ana enjoys spending time with her family, participating in her book club, biking, baking, reading, gardening, and meditative and contemplative practices. She worships and serves on the prayer team at Trinity Anglican Church.
