Dr. Ken Myers, LPC, LMHCI,
Professional Counselor

Ken is a native of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. He is a graduate of Elizabethtown College in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration. He also has a Master of Divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seminary and is an ordained elder in the United Methodist Church. He has served numerous churches for 26 years throughout the south Georgia and north Florida areas. In 2016, he received a Master of Arts in counseling from Regent University and in 2021, Ken earned his Doctor of Philosophy degree in Counselor Education from the University of Florida. Ken's doctoral dissertation is entitled: “Empowering Survivors to Speak Their Truth: An Exploration of Counselors’ Lived Experiences of Providing Therapy with Adult Male Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse.”

Ken is licensed as a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern in Florida and is working on becoming licensed as an Associate Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia. He is also a nationally certified counselor (NCC) and a board certified telemental health provider. Besides his vast pastoral experience, Ken has counseled adolescents at an in-patient residence for underserved youth, an in-patient mental health treatment center at a large regional hospital, individuals and couples at a private counseling clinic, and university students at a university counseling center.

Ken hopes to help his clients achieve their best selves by focusing on their strengths, and he firmly believes that we are all God’s handiwork and that no one or nothing is beyond God’s redemptive power.
