Meet Your Counselor: Jordan Lawler
Jordan received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Dallas Baptist University in 2016 and her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2023 from Colorado Christian University. She joined the Kalon Christian Counseling team in July 2025. She is currently working towards her professional counseling licensure in Georgia and Florida under the supervision of Dusty Hart.
As a trauma-informed therapist, Jordan advocates for those struggling with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, low self-esteem, eating disorders and postpartum concerns. She is passionate about collaborating with women and young adults to build upon their strengths and values to continue to find their own identity. She is trained in DBT and ACT modalities and has experience working in in-patient and out-patient settings for eating disorders.
Jordan is also fueled by her own faith and Biblical foundations. She seeks to create a safe environment for individuals seeking change, new found self-empowerment and connection of mind, body and soul.
As a new Georgia resident, Jordan comes with years of experience in Tennessee, Colorado and Texas. Outside of the therapy space, Jordan loves to read, work out and try new foods with her husband.
