Christin completed her Bachelor of Science at Valdosta State University. Prior to attending graduate school, Christin worked as the clinical program coordinator for a medical weight loss program where she developed a love for holistic health. As a certified nutrition and fitness specialist, Christin discovered a passion for helping individuals achieve their goals in specific and unique ways that utilize their innate strengths. Walking with clients as they made physical lifestyle changes opened Christin’s eyes to the psychological lifestyle aspects that are equally important. This awakening is what brought Christin to Richmont Graduate University where she earned her M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

As a counselor, Christin believes that people are resilient and built to overcome. As kids we instinctually learn how to protect ourselves from harm as we make our way in the world. Through our attempt to thrive, we often develop limiting beliefs about ourselves, others, and the world. Counseling allows a safe place to learn about ourselves and these protective strategies so that we can modify them and live a full and value-centered life.

Christin utilizes practical and applicable techniques to reduce the debilitating effects of anxiety, depression, perfectionism, low self-esteem, work stress, relational stress, and/or trauma. Christin draws from a combination of evidence-based practices, client-driven history, and the therapeutic relationship to help her clients achieve their goals.
